URBAN ALLEYWAY

Urban Alley

MY PROCESS

The objective of this project was given to me as a challenge from NC State. The challenge was making an urban ally way more attractive to the public. I accomplished this by providing the public and farmer's market and an outdoor art gallery. My urban alleyway gave itself a nice open layout with lots of creativity and sustainability. The process for my urban alleyway was to give it that exciting look. I gave my alleyway a lovely open ceiling that would change throughout the day, with the sun making shadows on the walkway. I gave my alleyway a nice brick wall that I've grown on it to give it a natural look. The farmer market and the art gallery were given a nice simplistic look for shade and openness. I then added a metallic piece separating the two, making it easy to distinguish where one is. This finally led me to a finished product that was both creative and functional at the same time.
